The Whitehorse Nordic Centre is one of Canada’s premier cross-country ski destinations near vibrant downtown Whitehorse. The WNC is easily accessible by car or city bus, offers many programs for all levels from all ages and backgrounds, equipment rental and ski services. With over 2,400 members, we're the biggest Nordic Centre in Canada.
Operated by a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing exceptional cross-country skiing experiences for about five months per year. We have over 90 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing, and a welcoming community atmosphere. The trails are open year-round and are equally popular in summer for mountain biking, hiking, running, and walking.

Youth Program Coordinator (Full-time)
​
The youth program coordinator is in charge of programs falling into the first three categories of the Long-term Athlete Development (LTAD)​:

Active Start: Bunny Rabbits

Learn to Train: JDP Start to Glide and Track Attack

Junior Development Program Coordinator (Seasonal - 200 hours)
​
The Junior Development Program Coordinator is responsible for programs in the fourth category of Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD):
​ 4. Train to Train: JDP 11-18
​
This is NOT a competitive program. This program program provides skiers an opportunity to develop technique, increase physical fitness and explore the many facets of cross-country skiing.

Customer Services Representative (Full-time)
​
The customer service representative is the public face of the Nordic Centre. We are looking for an experienced person in customer service to join our team. Possibility of short work week (4 days).
