The Whitehorse Nordic Centre offers the following services:

Ski Tune-Up (classic skis) - cleaning/sanding grip zone, applying glide wax, scraping/brushing
Hot Wax - applying glide wax, scraping and brushing
Summer/Travel Wax - cleaning base, applying travel wax
Apply/Remove Klister
Base binder application
Skin replacement
Binding Mount
Basket/Handle replacement

Minor repair

Note: Please allow an average of 3 days for your equipment to be ready.

We also offer hot waxing packages for schools in the fall. Please contact us if you would like us to take care of your fleet before the season starts.

Hot Wax Room

Located on the Mt MacIntyre Rec. Center parking lot.

The Hot Wax Room is open during our regular winter hours of operation.

Use it for:

Apply glide wax / hot wax
Scrape your skis
When using a solvent

What's provided:

Waxing benches with vise
Waxing Iron
Scrapers
Vacuum

Self-serve Warming Huts on Trails

The Nordic Centre has three (3) huts along the ski trails. Everyone is welcome to use them for a break during their ski outing.

What you can expect:

Hut with a stove
Outside firepit
Firewood and an axe
Outhouse

Store your gear at the Chalet!

The Whitehorse Nordic Centre offers seasonal locker rentals, providing members with convenient storage for their gear throughout the ski season. Lockers are especially helpful for skiers who bike, walk, carpool, or otherwise commute to the Centre, as they provide a convenient place to store gear between visits.

There are a limited number of lockers, which are allocated by lottery and redrawn each season. The draw is conducted fairly and equally for all applicants each season, with no priority given to previous renters. All season pass holders are eligible to apply. If a medical condition makes locker access important for you, please reach out to us before October 15 to request priority access.

Access is limited to public opening hours. Rental available from November to April 30th.

Seaonal Ski Lockers

Ski lockers are located in the main chalet.

What to expect:

Ski lockers are shared (this is not an individual locker).
Built with either 2 or 4 slots per locker, plus small shelves (one slot/shelf per person).
Each rental slot includes space for two pairs of skis and poles, and two pairs of ski boots can be stored on the shelves.
Locker numbers and locker slots are allocated randomly. Requests to accommodate families or groups will be considered, but cannot be guaranteed.
Locks provided by the Nordic Centre.
Fee: $100/per season/per slot.

How do I get a ski locker?

You can select this add-on when you buy your season pass to have your name entered in the draw. If you get picked, you will be contacted for details and payment ($100/slot). Draw November 3rd, 2026. If payment isn’t received by the deadline (2 weeks), another name will be drawn.

Seasonal Changeroom Lockers

There is a limited number of lockers available for seasonal rental in both women's and men's changeroom.

What to expect:

Individual locker ( "x ")
For clothing, shower accessories only (no ski equipment)
Fee: $60/season

How do I get a changeroom locker?

You can select this add-on when you buy your season pass to have your name entered in the draw. If you get picked, you will be contacted for details and payment ($60/slot). Draw November 3rd, 2026. If payment isn’t received by the deadline (2 weeks), another name will be drawn.

The Nordic Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please store personal belongings in your assigned locker or a day-use locker.
