Private Lessons

Private lessons are a flexible way to learn or improve your cross-country skiing skills. Whether you're trying cross-country skiing for the first time, visiting Whitehorse and looking for an introduction to the sport, organizing a lesson for a group, or looking to refine your technique, our listed instructors can help.

The Nordic Centre does not offer private lessons directly. We provide contact information for certified instructors who operate independently and offer private and small-group lessons.

To arrange a lesson, please contact an instructor directly using the information below. Instructors manage their own schedules, lesson formats, availability, and pricing.

Fees & Pass

Lesson fee: set by instructor (see rates below)
Trail Access: $10.32
Equipment rental (if required): $15 → View Rental Detail

Please note: Lesson fees are paid directly to the instructor. Trail passes and equipment rentals are purchased through the Nordic Centre.

Christine Prescott

Christine has been teaching cross-country skiing for over ten years and enjoys helping skiers of all ages and abilities build confidence and improve their technique. Private and small-group lessons are available in both classic and skate skiing.

Rates

$85/hour — Individual lesson
$50/person/hour — Group of 2
$40/person/hour — Group of 3 or more

Video analysis is available for lessons of 1.5 hours or longer.
